"The Christmas Polka"

Written By Hal Willis And Ginger Willis
When friendships glow in winter snow and music swells from jingling bells,
You know that Christmas is on the way and oh what a joyful holiday
When Jack Frost paints the window panes, and Santa brings the children trains
It makes you want to dance with glee,  around the family Christmas tree

CHORUS

HO! HO! HO! You and me, laughing, oh so merrily
With a spicy mug of cool egg nog, doing the Christmas polka

When north winds blow in gusty peaks, then bite your nose and tint your cheeks
The glowing of a fireplace, is what you need to warm your face
The smell of Christmas fills the air, there's love abounding everywhere
Children playing noisily, dancing 'round the Christmas tree

REPEAT CHORUS

When you see little Jane and Joe,  a-pitching snow balls to and fro
Then comes old Grandpa with their sleigh, Christmas can't be far away
When windows give a friendly glow
to glistening streets of ice and snow
It's time to join the family, and dance around the Christmas tree

REPEAT CHORUS
