"Mrs. Santa Claus"
Songwriters Hal Willis and Ginger Willis
and Irma Young
Mrs. Santa Claus, with chubby red cheeks
Has been a- working hard for weeks and weeks
A-wrapping up the presents for Christmas Day
Mrs. Santa Claus will soon be on her way
In her pretty gown of red, decorated with lace
With snowflakes a-glistening on her angel face
A-flying round with Santa, in his golden sleigh
Shining like a star out in the milky way

CHORUS

So come on, Santa, go hitch up your sleigh
We got to get going, and be on our way
There's little children waiting, and they hope and pray
That Santa's gonna be here on Christmas Day

Mrs. Santa Claus has got a way with sweets She's known the world over for her cooking treats
Her North Pole pudding and her Christmas cake
And all the other goodies that she likes to bake
She brings to us  those little tasty snacks
All wrapped up in pretty little sacks
Mrs. Santa Claus, with the twinkle in her eye
Flitting round the kitchen like a firefly

CHORUS

Mrs. Santa Claus, with hair of snow
Is putting things together for her Christmas show
A-loading up the sleigh, when day is done
And getting Santa ready for his midnight run
Mrs. Santa Claus loves everyone
She's always very jolly and full of fun
And when she pulls old Santa neath the mistletoe
Santa gets a-laughing, singing HO! HO! HO!
